NRI launches their new exiting coin changer ‘Currenza c² airport’ with integrated alarm and telemetry functionality

The currenza c² airport system is a unique alarm and telemetry solution inside the c² coin changer that provides alarm messages and additional digital remote data transmission of audit and vending machine data.
Telemetry is too difficult: We prove that black is white by integrating the telemetry module into the c² coin changer so no external units or server connections are required making it a plug & play solution – as easy as using a mobile phone. Additionally we suggest using the system as an alarm system instead of reading out the machine several times a day. During our field trials we learned that the operator has often no time to sit many hours each day going through the complex daily audit data. He is rather interested if his machines are running flawlessly – by using the alarm function only he always has control over the vending machine status. Nevertheless additional audit data in EVA-DTS format can be also read out at the back office by the currenza airbox GSM receiving module.
No fixed monthly costs: NRI does not charge any monthly fees for the c² airport solution. Additionally when using Pre-Paid SIM cards only the alarm SMS or the optional manual readout costs will occur. This is in contrast to many telemetry solution which charge costs per machine per month which is not cost efficient for many operators considering their machine park size. Furthermore the NRI audit manager software is also free of charge.
Alarm function: Moreover the system provides an alarm function optionally via SMS for selectable machine events like door is open, cooling unit observation or exact change situations. This means that the service technician will receive immediately an SMS that he can react quickly reducing machine downtimes considerably - otherwise the impact of a down machine can easily add up to $100-200 per day so the ROI of the device is extremely quick.
“We concentrated our efforts on developing a Plug & Play alarm and telemetry system with functions that an operator really needs like the alarm function. The only costs that might occur are when receiving alarm messages as the operator can always decide when to read out from their machines.
